Thanks Jessica! And thanks for pointing out my use of alliteration :) We all have the capacity to initiate changes that will positively impact our professional practice and learners. As you stated though we need to first acknowledge areas needed change at the individual level to begin the process.Eric Sheningerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13733305358794643322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5931834670826653533.post-4582872178744276882014-01-15T08:21:30.926-05:002014-01-15T08:21:30.926-05:00This is a very eloquently written piece. The English teacher inside me smiled when I saw the use of alliteration.

Thank you for writing this. It helped me to also look back and reflect on what has made me who I am today. In my opinion, reflection is the best way to grow. How can you learn anything if you don't acknowledge where you were and take an honest look at what you're doing? Anyone can say, "I'm the best" and just move on with their day. It takes a lot more to actually see where you need to grow and to successfully effectuate a change within yourself.

Jessica Groffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17197717332656904186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5931834670826653533.post-16871000065930559552014-01-10T06:11:50.300-05:002014-01-10T06:11:50.300-05:00Eric -- anytime! I can honestly say that the only reason I am who I am is because of the people that mold my thinking and provide support as well as the incredible environment here at New Milford HS that I am blessed to work in. I would be happy to work under a leader such as yourself. But everything I know about working hard I learned from him. I'll bet your dad is so proud of you! All the best. Your digital experiences roughly parallel my own. I also applaud you on your upcoming book -- but please allow me to act as editor here: wouldn't replacing 'a final product of the changes that have occurred' with 'a natural product of the ongoing changes...' or something like that better reflect the never-ending process of change that you've (I've) embraced? The breathtaking speed of this ride we all got on has enabled me to see that to always be 'becoming' someone, and never thinking I've arrived, is the key to ongoing personal and professional success. And with that, a wish for continued success.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08422783944020271302noreply@blogger.com
